It takes time to find the right search terms. It takes time to implement changes. It may take months to see the results.

This is meaningless. Submit a Website to a maximum of 4 Search Engines. Or wait a while, and the Search Engines will find your Website all on their own.

The number of links is not important, the number of quality links is. Beware of link farms – you may end up with no traffic at all.

Don't believe a bargain offer. There is a lot of work involved in SEO, and it can be costly. There are seldom bargain offers from expert SEO consultants.

It is hard to believe that Google will reveal their secrets to all and sundry.

Guaranteed first page Rankings.

This is ridiculous. Nobody can guarantee any such thing. Or you may be promised top Rankings for a specific Keyword phrase. Look up the popularity of the Keyword phrase with the Google AdWords. It may be a phrase that is seldom used.
